Fontanini Nativity

As a child I remember that we had an Italian neighbor that lived next door. He had this great big Nativity scene that he was very proud of. He would take it out every Christmas season and always arranged it in the same way. He had told me that it was made by a man name Fontanini and that came from his home town in Italy. He had also told me that it had been handed down through his family for generations.
Well now I have my very own Fontanini. It’s exactly the same in every detail with one exception. While my neighbors Fontanini Nativity were almost life size, mine was quite small by comparison. My nativity fits on a small table yet is exactly to the same scale. And I plan on making my Fontanini Nativity scene an heirloom by handing it down one year to one of my own children.
By the way, the pieces are all unbreakable so you know it’ll last for generations.
